Smart meters allow you to track your energy use in near real time and make simple adjustments to save energy and money. They also allow us to offer new programs and services to enhance your customer experience with EPE.

Getting Started

Create an Account

Get the most out of your new smart meter by creating an online account and using our smart energy tools. You can do this from your computer or phone.

Go to myaccount.epelectric.com or download the EPE app in the Apple Store or Google Play. You will need your EPE customer account number which is located in the upper right hand corner of your electric bill.

Save Money with Your Smart Meter

Use EPE’s Smart Energy Tools

Once your account is set up, visit the Smart Energy Tools section of the customer portal to complete your free home energy analysis. It’s a quick assessment of how you’re using energy and ways to save. Even small behavior changes can result in big savings.

You also have access to other smart energy tools, including:

  • Customized tips to make your home more energy efficient
  • General energy saving tips
  • Bill comparisons year over year
  • Bill forecasting
  • Energy use comparisons with your neighbors

You can choose to use some or all of these tools, but we encourage you to use as many of them as possible.
