Closure of Portion of Artcraft Dr. Needed as El Paso Electric Enhances its Energy Delivery System
EL PASO, Texas (December 5, 2024) - El Paso Electric (EPE) will make upgrades to its energy delivery system and will require nightly road closures of west- and eastbound lanes of Artcraft Rd., between Westside Dr. and Upper Valley Rd. The nightly closures will be from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. beginning Monday, December 9, 2024, through Friday, December 13, 2024.
To safely work on these upgrades, commuters are asked to follow detour signage and respect construction barricades. Closure and traffic detours will be assisted by local law enforcement and Apache Barricade & Sign.
Closure details:
- Monday night, December 9, 2024, through Friday morning, December 13, 2024
- Nightly from 9:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m.
- West- and eastbound lanes of Artcraft Rd. between Westside Dr. and Upper Valley Rd.
- Commuters are asked to follow detour signage and respect barricades
Detour details:
- Westbound traffic on Artcraft Rd. will go northbound on Upper Valley Rd., west on W. Borderland Rd., south on Westside Dr.
- Eastbound traffic on Artcraft Rd. will go northbound on Westside Dr., east on W. Borderland Rd., south on Upper Valley Rd.
