EL PASO, Texas (October 28, 2024) – El Paso Electric (EPE) will make enhancements to its energy delivery system and will require approximately three weeks of nightly road closures of the intersection of George Dieter Dr. and Gateway Blvd. West. Lane closures on Gateway Blvd. West from Don Haskins Dr. to George Dieter Dr. are expected to occur concurrently. The nightly closures will begin on November 3, 2024, and are expected to run through November 22, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday nights to Friday mornings.

EL PASO, Texas (October 22, 2024) – All Texas El Paso Electric (EPE) customers will receive a credit on their bills this November and December. The average residential customer will receive a credit of approximately $3.00, an estimated savings of 3.75%. The refund will be reflected on the fuel charge line item on customer bills.

EL PASO, Texas (June 27, 2024) - El Paso Electric (EPE) will require an overnight road closure of a portion of Loop 375 in far east El Paso. The closure will be from 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27 through 6:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024, and will include northbound and southbound lanes of Loop 375 just north of Montana Ave. This closure is necessary to allow EPE to extend distribution lines across Loop 375 that will provide interconnection of two substations.
