OVERNIGHT CLOSURE: El Paso Electric to Close Portion of Loop 375 in Far East El Paso
EL PASO, Texas (June 27, 2024) – El Paso Electric (EPE) will require an overnight road closure of a portion of Loop 375 in far east El Paso. The closure will be from 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27 through 6:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024, and will include northbound and southbound lanes of Loop 375 just north of Montana Ave. This closure is necessary to allow EPE to extend distribution lines across Loop 375 that will provide interconnection of two substations.
To safely work on this project, commuters are asked to follow detour signage and respect construction barricades. Closure and traffic detours will be assisted by local law enforcement and Apache Barricade.
Overnight closure details:
- From 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, through 6:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28.
- Loop 375 northbound and southbound lanes will be closed between Montana and Spur 601.
- Commuters are asked to follow detour signage and respect construction barricades.
