Road Closure: El Paso Electric To Conduct Work in Downtown El Paso

Complete closure between Kansas and N. Mesa Streets along E. Main Street

EL PASO, Texas – El Paso Electric (EPE) will be conducting infrastructure work in Downtown El Paso requiring a complete road closure along East Main Street between Kansas and N. Mesa Streets along with two other single-lane closures. Traffic control set-up will begin at 8:00 p.m. each evening from Sunday, December 8 to Friday, December 13. EPE infrastructure work will begin at 11:00 p.m. each evening and will run through 6:00 a.m. the following day.

Road Closure Information:

• A complete road closure in both directions along E. Main Street between Kansas and N. Mesa Streets.
• Left-lane closure along Stanton Street between Texas and E. Missouri Avenues.
• Right-lane closure along E. Missouri Avenue between Kansas and N. Mesa Streets.

Suggested Detour Information:

• Traffic traveling east or west through Downtown El Paso that typically utilizes E. Main Street can use E. Mills Avenue as a detour.
• Kansas and N. Mesa Streets will not be impacted by closures.

Commuters are asked to respect construction barricades and be mindful of reduced speed limits.
