EPE recently received the 2022 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy for its abilities in helping customers save on energy consumption and efforts in customer outreach and education on energy efficiency.

“We’re honored to have earned this recognition because it highlights how much our community values energy efficiency,” shares EPE Energy Efficiency Supervisor Araceli Perea. “We will continue to support energy efficiency programs so residents and businesses can maximize their opportunities on saving energy and money.”

Each year, the ENERGY STAR program honors a group of businesses and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to protecting the environment through superior energy achievements. ENERGY STAR award winners lead their industries in the production, sale, and adoption of energy-efficient products, homes, buildings, services, and strategies. These efforts are essential to fighting the climate crisis and protecting public health.

EPE is also a recipient of the 2021 ENERGY STAR Market Leader award.

Socio del año: EPE gana premio ENERGY STAR 2022

EPE recibió recientemente el premio Socio del Año 2022 de ENERGY STAR de la Agencia de Protección Ambiental de EE. UU. y el Departamento de Energía de EE. UU. por su capacidad para ayudar a los clientes a ahorrar en el consumo de energía y sus esfuerzos en llegar a los clientes y educar sobre eficiencia energética.

“Nos sentimos honrados de haber ganado este reconocimiento porque destaca cuánto valora nuestra comunidad la eficiencia energética,” comparte la supervisora de Eficiencia Energética de EPE, Araceli Perea. “Continuaremos apoyando los programas de eficiencia energética para que los residentes y las empresas puedan maximizar sus oportunidades de ahorrar energía y dinero.”

Cada año, el programa ENERGY STAR honra a un grupo de empresas y organizaciones que han realizado contribuciones destacadas para proteger el medio ambiente a través de logros energéticos superiores. Los ganadores del premio ENERGY STAR lideran sus industrias en la producción, venta y adopción de productos, hogares, edificios, servicios y estrategias de eficiencia energética. Estos esfuerzos son esenciales para combatir la crisis climática y proteger la salud pública.

EPE también recibió el premio ENERGY STAR Líder de Mercado en el 2021.
