El Paso Electric Permanently Extends Customer Care Call Center Hours

El Paso Electric (EPE) is pleased to announce that Customer Care Call Center hours will be permanently extended to 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. MST, Monday through Friday in order to better serve customers. Texas counties with fewer power outages are not part of state grid

HOUSTON — Some parts of Texas battered by the winter storm had relatively few homes lose power. They are primarily in areas outside of ERCOT, the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, which manages the electric grid for 90% of the state and operates separate from federal oversight and regulation.
