Mr. Karp is a Vice President in the Infrastructure Investments Group at J.P. Morgan where he is responsible for sourcing, executing, and managing investments in the utility, energy, and other infrastructure businesses. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan in 2018, Mr. Karp worked at RBC Capital Markets in the Power, Utilities, and Infrastructure investment banking group. In that role, he was responsible for origination, structuring, and execution of M&A transactions and equity and debt financings across the regulated utility, transportation infrastructure, and power generation sectors. Prior to RBC Capital Markets, Mr. Karp spent two years at GE Capital where he held various roles in risk, including credit underwriting and enterprise risk management. Mr. Karp graduated from Colgate University with a B.A. in Mathematical Economics.
