As Chief Financial Officer, Lisa has almost 30 years of experience and oversees Financial Accounting, Regulatory Accounting, Tax, Cash Management, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Systems, Claims & Risk, Internal Audit, and Information Technology. Prior to her current position Lisa served as Treasurer.

Before joining El Paso Electric in 2010, the majority of Lisa’s career was spent working for Petro Stopping Centers, L.P., and an affiliated company in various financial and leadership capacities, Treasurer, Assistant Secretary, & Director of Finance. She contributes her expertise to working collaboratively and transparently with internal and external stakeholders and non-profit causes for which she is passionate.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Biomedical Institute of Americas, Inc. a subsidiary of the nonprofit Medical Center of the Americas (MCA) Foundation focused on creating a world-class life sciences hub in the heart of El Paso, Texas. She is also a member of the Association for Financial Professionals and Executive Forum.

Lisa is a native of Southern New Mexico and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from New Mexico State University and has earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
