EL PASO, Texas - The El Paso Electric (EPE) board of directors is pleased to welcome Dr. Srinivas Mukkamala as the newest independent board member. Dr. Mukkamala brings a wealth of expertise and experience in the cybersecurity field that will bring invaluable guidance to the EPE board of directors.

With my appointment I am excited to meaningfully impact EPE and push the company forward with my experience,” says Dr. Mukkamala. “I look forward to help propel EPE’s vision of leveraging technology excel by ensuring its efficiency and that we have the right technology to move the EPE forward.”  

With an extensive educational background, Dr. Mukkamala received his Ph.D. in computer science in 2005 from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. A resident of New Mexico, he has since played pivotal roles in various organizations, including serving as CEO and Co-Founder of RiskSense, a cloud-based software company specializing in identifying critical security weaknesses. Currently, Dr. Mukkamala is serving as the Chief Product Officer of Ivanti, a company that enables and secure Everywhere Work for more than 40,000 customers across the globe.
