El Paso Electric to Conduct Work in Northwest El Paso to Improve Reliability

EL PASO, Texas (March 26, 2025) – El Paso Electric (EPE) will be conducting construction work to its distribution infrastructure in Northwest El Paso to improve reliability, to accommodate growing energy needs and future development.

Work is scheduled for March 31 to April 30, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Traffic control measures will be in place along Bluff Creek St. from Dewberry Dr. to Transmountain Dr. Construction flaggers will be present to direct traffic along Bluff Creek St. Flaggers are responsible for directing traffic flow, ensuring the safety of workers and the public.

Part of this project will require the closure of the intersection of Bluff Creek St. at Dewberry Dr. To safely work on this project, commuters are asked to respect construction barricades and follow detour signage. Closure and traffic detours will be assisted by Apache Barricade & Sign.
