EPE Crews Respond to Power Outage in West El Paso Caused by MVA

El Paso Electric crews respond to a motor vehicle accident where a Ford Explorer rolled over and crashed into an electric pole in West El Paso causing it to collapse. The accident happened around 2AM the morning of April 15, 2020, causing a power outage impacting about 2,100 customers initially. EPE was able to restore power to all but 80 customers by 5AM and had full power restoration by 7AM. Several media outlets covered the accident.
