EPE Distribution Pole Replaced to Continue Serving Local Media Stations

El Paso Electric Distribution Crews replace an electrical pole in El Paso's Franklin Mountains along Scenic Drive as it was severely damaged during recent strong wind storms. This marks the first time in EPE's history that Distribution Crews used a helicopter to replace a distribution pole in this area. All disbribution poles in this range are original infrastructure that were installed by mule during the early 20th century. From several days to only 7 minutes, EPE was able to successfully restore the distribution pole that serves several regional media station towers, such as KFOX, Univision, KLOVE, KLAQ, KISS FM, and others.
