Beto O'Rourke offers another teaser for upcoming El Paso rally
Beto O'Rourke, the El Pasoan running for president, is slowly releasing details about his upcoming El Paso rally.
On Wednesday, O'Rourke tweeted that he'll be visiting three Texas cities — El Paso, Houston and Austin — on the same day to officially kick off his campaign.
The El Paso rally will be March 30 at 10:30 a.m., with doors opening at 10. But we still don't know a kinda crucial bit of information: the location.
Despite the undisclosed venue, you can still RSVP for the event on Facebook.
The venue for the Houston rally is also unknown. The Austin rally will be held at the corner of 9th Street and Congress Avenue, about two blocks from the Texas Capitol, according to the Facebook event page.
A spokesman for O'Rourke's campaign did not have additional details on the event.
O'Rourke in November held a rally at Southwest University Park after his Senate loss to Ted Cruz. The baseball stadium can fit around 7,500 people.
He also might have the option to use venues like the El Paso County Coliseum or the Don Haskins Center, which hold sizable crowds. It's unclear whether those venues are available on March 30.
The Don Haskins Center holds the most people, with a capacity of 11,892. The venue is usually used for basketball games or other events, such as concerts.
